The Krisis Karré conical pod for paragliding harnesses has a flat, conical shape and rounded corners. Tests have shown that this design allows it to be removed from the rescue compartment of the harness much more quickly and with less effort than cube-shaped, compressed-volume wind containers.

The conical pod of the Krisis Karré has a separate area for the canopy lines. This is advantageous for safe storage inside the harness and controlled deployment in emergency situations. Only when the lines are taut is the canopy released and opened quickly and in a controlled manner. This minimises the risk of entanglement between the paraglider and the reserve parachute. The zips are made of rubber strands with a textile coating. They are much more durable than conventional rubber closures.
